Hawes Post Office Welcome to Hawes Post Office, a Community Post Office newly opened in the town !!

We have on hand some very friendly staff to deal with your requirements, and offer enhanced Post Office services including travel money, the issue of motor vehicle licences and a range of banking services. You will find us nestled inside the Upper Wensleydale Community Office off the Market Place in Hawes, a beacon deeply rural one-stop-shop with the Post Office, the Library, the Police Station, t

he Little White Bus Service, a seven computer station Internet Café, and the County, District and Parish Council offices are all available within the same building. The team of Imogen Kirkbride, currently the youngest Postmistress in England, Jonny Haigh her assistant, Abbie Rhodes Manager all report to Community Volunteer Head Postmaster for Hawes, Councillor John Blackie. They ask for your support for this bold community enterprise and look forward to seeing you soon.

As we head into the festive season, here are our Christmas opening times for Hawes Post Office and Hawes Library and Community Office:

- Christmas Eve (24 Dec): 9:00am – 2:00pm
- Christmas Day (25 Dec): Closed
- Boxing Day (26 Dec): Closed
- 27–30 Dec: Normal hours
- New Year’s Eve (31 Dec): 9:00am – 2:00pm
- New Year’s Day (1 Jan): Closed
- 02 Jan onwards: Normal hours
