A fabulous opportunity to see inside this lovely Grade II listed cruck barn dating back to the 16th century and to explore the amazing archaeological landscape.

Another glorious morning at on the way down to the campsite. We look forward to welcoming everyone who is booked with us later. For those without bookings we are full for this weekend (12th/13th) but currently have limited availability for next weekend (18th/19th).

Head to by taking the campers path from the top of the campsite. It is a 1.5km uphill walk, gaining nearly 200m vertical elevation, to reach the edge. You can then explore further or just take in the sunset.

The village of is around a 25 minute walk from the campsite on footpaths meandering down through the valley. The wild flower meadows are a current highlight.

Spring Bank Holiday Update: We still have good availability for tonight (Friday), we are fully booked for Saturday night and have very limited availability for Sunday night.

Froggatt Pod basking in yesterday’s evening sun. Our camping pods allow you to experience in a little more comfort, sleeping bags and mats still required though!

The Bluebells are beginning to show in Tain Wood, just through the gate at the top of the campsite.

Easter BH Weekend Saturday Update: We still have a handful of places for people hiking (or biking) in tonight, sorry no more space for cars. Currently good availability for Sunday into Monday and still with the ability to reserve parking.

Our easy access washroom is now open after a full refurbishment ahead of the 2025 season. Improvements include a ceiling hoist, baby changing station and a no-touch automatic door.

The current view across to from just above the campsite. We still have some space for camping over the weekend for those looking to make the most of these blue skies.
