For the third year running, West Green House Opera will present a Gala Evening with the thrill of a full orchestra showcasing a programme of great opera highlights, with guest soloists of international standing.
With the enchanting West Front of West Green House, where the busts of Gods and Emperors look down from the high walls forming the backdrop to the Opera Pavilion, this is a stunning setting for an evening of excellent music and song.
The evening will be conducted by John Andrews, conductor one of Britain’s most versatile and engaging conductors, leading the Orchestra of English National Opera. Together, they promise performances of vitality, colour, and style.
This year, we are delighted to welcome back two outstanding artists who have become favourites of the West Green audience. Jenny Stafford, returning for multiple seasons and remembered most recently for her unforgettable portrayal of Suor Angelica, rejoins us alongside Katie Bray, who first captivated audiences here in 2024’s Barber of Seville. A BBC Cardiff Singer of the World award winner, Katie brings her acclaimed artistry and warmth back to West Green for another memorable evening.
Tickets are still available for a glorious evening celebrating opera's finest arias.
