We’re really proud that Book Hogg is an inclusive community library, open to everyone and stocked with books that reflect all different people, backgrounds, experiences and stories. ❤️🌍

You’ll spot that in this week’s shelves too, with 50 Qu**rs Who Changed the World alongside New Formation: How Black Footballers Shaped the Modern Game, because we want our little library to be somewhere everyone feels represented and welcome.

And with the kids finally back at school… 😂 we’ve stocked up on some football reads for the dads who might suddenly have a little more time on their hands, and plenty of new reads for the mums too! 📚☕️

There are new children’s books in there as well, so there really is something for everyone.

📚 A few new additions to The Book Hogg! 📚

We’ve added another little selection of books to the box today – including some lovely vintage Penguin reads kindly donated to us recently (thank you so much for the lovely books Natasha-Ann and Caitlin these will keep us going for ages 🫶) alongside a more recent favourite, Fever Pitch by Nick Hornby a new book that was sent to us by Penguin.

From old classics that have been read and loved for decades to newer titles ready to find their next reader, there’s always something different to discover. 💙

🎶📚 A brilliant new addition to The Book Hogg! 📚🎶

Calling all U2 fans! 👀

Bono: Stories of Surrender has landed in the box — Bono’s autobiography taking us from his early days in Dublin through the incredible rise of U2, alongside the people, experiences and causes that shaped his life. 🎤

Originally published as Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story, the chapters are inspired by U2 songs, making this a great pick for music lovers as well as autobiography fans.

The Cinnamon Bun Book Store — even the name feels like autumn in a book. 🥹📖☕️

If you fancy something cosy to curl up with as the evenings start drawing in, this one looks just the ticket — cinnamon buns, a bookshop and a little bit of sugar and spice. What more could we want? 🍂
