🎃🎃 Halloween Fun at Waverley Outdoor Community Hub! 🎃🎃

Today we headed down to our pumpkin patch to pick some fantastic Waverley-grown pumpkins, lovingly grown by our amazing volunteers. 💚

The children had great fun carving the pumpkins, getting creative making trick-or-treat bags, and enjoying lots of outdoor play to burn off some of that pre-Halloween excitement! 🍂👻

To finish off the day, everyone enjoyed some delicious homemade spooky pumpkin soup, which went down a treat. 🥣🎃

For Green Libraries Week we have had visits from 2 nurseries.
We had a welly walk to look round the allotment, picked our own tomatoes for snack time and collected leaves to make hedgehogs to take home.
We also shared a story and the children received their Bookstart story packs.
