The Parish Council regrets to report a recent spate of thefts involving bedding plants from several locations. These displays enhance our villages and are greatly appreciated by both residents and visitors. They also represent a significant investment in both funding and staff time, making their loss especially disheartening.

We intend to monitor the situation closely and, if necessary, will reconsider our options for future schemes.

Look out for a leaflet coming through your door explaining our new food waste collections which we are rolling out across spring and summer.

Ahead of collections beginning you will receive a:

• external caddy to be kept outside
• internal caddy for the kitchen

Your food waste collection will be the same as your rubbish and recycling day, but at a different time. You will receive information with your caddy telling you when your collections will start.

Also, from the start of April you no longer need your green box for glass. All glass should be placed with other dry recyclables in your blue lidded bin.
