North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Harrogate on Wednesday 21 October 2015.
The incident happened at 1.40pm on Station Parade, close to the entrance to the bus station, and involved a pedestrian and a black VW Golf.
The pedestrian, an 83 year old man from Harrogate, was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary where he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the Golf, an 81 year old man from Boroughbridge, was shaken but otherwise uninjured and is helping the police with their enquiries.
