Reform UK - Burnley are to stand a candidate in every single ward 🇬🇧

This is a testament not only to the quality of our candidates, but also to the residents of Burnley and our supporters who are ready to back and support a better Burnley 👏

I’m incredibly proud and honoured to announce that I have been selected as the Reform UK - Burnley candidate for Cliviger and Worsthorne in the upcoming elections on the 7th of May.

Reform UK represents family, community, and country and a vote for Reform is a vote for visibility, accountability, and a strong voice on the issues that matter most to you and your families.

While other parties, including the Greens, Liberal Democrats, and Burnley Independent Group voted to cancel your elections, Reform UK were the only ones that stood up for democracy and fought to ensure you get your opportunity to say who represents you at the ballot box. 🇬🇧 🗳

The Lib Dems in Briercliffe are a joke!! And not a funny one.

At parish level, there are issues. At borough level, they voted against elections… and now they’re asking for your vote? It doesn’t add up. Cllr Margaret Lishman you are a hypocrite.

There’s a clear disconnect with residents. If they were truly listening, they wouldn’t be wasting their time standing in the May elections.

Reform UK - Burnley will be standing a candidate in Briercliffe. Someone with a proven track record, and someone who will actually engage with the community and not someone that pops up every now and again when they need their allowance.

Removing Sir Winston Churchill from our money on the basis that it may be divisive is absolute clap trap left wing, bow down utter rubbish.

To be replaced with what? Animals, wildlife and everything else green.....for now. Who are they appeasing with this?

Cllr Lishman, member of the Executive said "democracy has prevailed" this week at full council.

Let's rewind a little bit... Cllr Lishman voted against residents in Burnley having their say and being able to vote, I reported this at the time in a previous post.

How she manged to keep a straight face saying this is beyond me.

Saying that, she also has form for playing Candy Crush in the chamber so I'm hardly shocked.

In May, we will have the opportunity to vote and that is only because of Reform UK.
