to bring about sustainable change in people's lives. The main objective for the year continued to be that of assistance to vulnerable
individuals at risk of homelessness
through the provision of supported accommodation within a safe community setting.

🪂On 1st July, our CEO Ellen and her brave 16-year-old son Ellis will be taking to the skies and jumping out of a plane to raise funds for Happy Days!🪂

Every penny raised will help us continue supporting people experiencing homelessness and hardship across Halifax, providing vital services, practical support, and hope when it's needed most.

This Volunteers' Week, we want to shine a light on our incredible Trustees.

A huge thank you to Gareth Henderson, Kevin Teague, Holly Lynch, Peter Cawdron, Cat Daniel, Christopher Lee.

Being a trustee often happens behind the scenes. It means giving up evenings, attending meetings, providing expertise, asking difficult questions, making important decisions and carrying the responsibility of helping steer our charity forward. It is a role driven not by recognition, but by a genuine commitment to making a difference.

Your time, wisdom, encouragement and belief in our mission help us continue supporting people experiencing homelessness and hardship. Every success we achieve, every person we support and every step we take towards creating brighter futures is strengthened by your leadership and dedication.

Today we're celebrating some of our amazing long-serving volunteers. While there are many more volunteers who have dedicated years of their time to Happy Days, these are just a few of the incredible people who have supported us throughout the years.

Their commitment, kindness, and dedication have helped us make a difference to countless lives. Through every challenge, event, fundraiser, and busy day, they have been there, giving their time and energy to support our mission.

Today, we were delighted to welcome a fantastic team from Lloyds Bank for a corporate volunteering day at Happy Days UK! 🧡

Their hard work, enthusiasm and willingness to get stuck in have made a real difference, and we're incredibly grateful for their support.

Over the years, we've been lucky to work with so many amazing local businesses and organisations who have given their time to support our work with people experiencing homelessness and hardship. Corporate volunteering days not only help us deliver vital services, but also give teams the opportunity to make a positive impact in their local community.
