Today our talented cast took to the stage for their dress rehearsal of Beauty and the Beast Jr 🥀✨

After weeks of hard work, they performed beautifully for KS1 this afternoon - we’re so proud of them and can’t wait for them to shine next week! 🌟

⛰️THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE COMPLETED!⛰️

On Sunday, our Whitehill teachers and staff took on – and completed – the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge! 💪⛰️

It was tough going, especially in the heat, but the team showed incredible determination, pushing through the pain and supporting each other every step of the way to reach the finish line. We couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved! 🙌

We’re also thrilled to share that we’ve hit our £2,000 target 🎉 – thank you so much to everyone who has donated and cheered us on!

🔨🏗️ Construction Week at Afterschool Club!

Last week, the children got creative building models from a range of materials, completing construction-themed colouring, and taking on the challenge of building the tallest Jenga tower!

Well done to some of our winners pictured here, earning certificates as well as 5 achievement points👏✨

And that’s a wrap for PGL 2026 🎉

We’ve had a brilliant final day packed with exciting activities, including the trapeze and giant swing with plenty of fears conquered along the way! They’ve tackled every challenge head on and represented the school so well all weekend, even being praised by the PGL staff for their exemplary manners.

They should all feel incredibly proud of themselves - although we think a very early night is definitely needed after such a busy and memorable few days! ✨

Day 2 of our weekend at PGL and we even had a special appearance from the sun! The Giant Swing and kayaking were firm favourites with all of the children. Even if the water was a bit chilly 🥶, we’re heading off to our silent disco now before coming back to the tents to get packed up and ready for home 🪩💃🕺

Halifax teachers taking on charity trek challenge

We’ve had a fun filled first day at PGL. Our day started bright and early at 5am 🌞 we’re very proud of the courage and resilience that year 6 have shown us today. Unfortunately, our camp fire session was cut short due to the rain, but we’ve all enjoyed marshmallows and biscuits before bed time! 🔥

The training continues as our amazing staff prepare to take on the challenge next weekend! This time, the team tackled Ingleborough.

We're raising money for two causes close to our hearts:
