Uckfield High Street update (05.06.26)

Although the immediate danger to the public has been removed from the formerly Maiden's Head pub in Uckfield High Street, there's further work and investigation still to be done.

So far, access to this building hasn't been possible to complete this investigation, so we are pursuing a more formal route to secure access. Works can then be completed and scaffolding can be removed.

We want to take a moment to shine a light on Wadhurst Parish Council and Wadhurst Tennis Club for their lovely new clay courts.

Wadhurst Parish Council came to us with this proposal and we're so pleased that we could help this project by providing £25,000 through the Sports Infrastructure Fund.

The courts look amazing and we're so excited to hear about the future of this project.
