With the hot weather and the increased risks of cold water incidents the team headed down to the Gleneagles pond to practice water rescue. Our newest recruits Luke and Elliott needed rescuing! Whilst we are trained for self-rescue we continue to practice our rescue skills. Cold water shock, currents and under water obstacles all pose risks when you’re tempted to take a quick cooling dip. We’d rather not have to put these skills to real use so always be think before you jump in!
