While waiting for your kettle to boil, you can have your say on policing…

Got a spare few minutes? Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion has launched a short consultation to give you an opportunity to have your say on the Government’s proposals to create 12 ‘mega police forces’.

As this could be the biggest shake up to policing in six decades, the PCC wants to make sure you can share your views on this change. He will share the public response directly with the Government to consider in their review.

The consultation closes on Monday 15th June. Have your say by visiting the West Mercia PCC website -

Your PCC is responsible for overseeing policing in West Mercia, ensuring that your local police are meeting community needs.

Please take 10 minutes out of your day to respond to the planning applications

**327 houses proposed to be built in Hagley, across FOUR seperate planning applications!** 😳

Sadly builders realise how wonderful Hagley is but what they don't realise is our infrastructure cannot cope with more houses.

All of these proposed sites have their own unique challenges but they ALL have the same problem - Hagley's infrastructure is FULL.

🏠 The schools, drs, roads, sewerage systems and parking is FULL. We really can't cope with more houses clogging up the infrastructure.

🌳 Plus the loss of green gelt, damage to wildlife and the places we use for our own mental and physical health.

We'll be looking at the unique issues and sharing those but you'll have your own views too.

Don't delay, please read and respond to EACH planning application. You can respond more than once and more than one per household but you must respond to each one seperately.

Respond on The Bromsgrove District Council Planning Portal (links below to each site) or email the planning team at [email protected] and quote the ref numbers for each site.

Piecemeal applications will risk total under investment, overdevelopment and lacking strategic thought!

If you want any support to respond, have questions about what to put please email [email protected].
