Why do we volunteer? Here’s Fran, from our Knaphill group, to tell us more about how she got into volunteering with TALK.

We’re always looking for more friendly, patient and kind people to make a difference in their local area.

Living with Aphasia: The reality for individuals and their loved ones.

Aphasia can affect speech, understanding, reading and writing. But it does not affect intelligence. The person is still there. Their thoughts are still there. Their feelings, humour, memories and personality are still there.

Thank you to our Chair of Trustees, Tanya, for sharing a message many find difficult to express.

Have you heard of Aphasia? Whether you have previous knowledge of the condition or not, we are always looking for more friendly volunteers to make a difference in the Surrey area. If you'd like to support the work we do, send us a message today!
