The Cove - A Safe Space for Women The Cove is a safe, welcoming space for women to drop in for a cuppa and chat and access general support on all of life stressors.

Run by women for women who have multiple expertise. A confidential space is also available for 121 support.

Hygiene poverty is a reality for many, but no woman should ever have to go without basic personal care essentials.
Our Women’s Hygiene Bank provides free, dignified access to essential toiletries and period products for local women in need.

We are currently accepting donations of:
🔸Sanitary pads and tampons
🔸Shower gels, soaps, and deodorants
🔸Shampoo and conditioner
🔸Toothbrushes and toothpaste
🔸Everyday skincare and moisturiser
(Note: All items must be new and unopened).

Every item donated goes directly back to supporting local women. Thank you for your kindness!

At Modern Matriarchs CIC, our purpose is simple: to support and empower women across North East Lincolnshire, ensuring our community is a place where female voices are heard, valued and safe.

​Visible female leadership matters across community groups, local institutions and decision making spaces. When local conversations focus on the representation of women and women's rights, we want to remind every woman in our region that your experiences, leadership and safety are paramount.

​We remain entirely non political and independent, focused solely on creating safe spaces, supporting women's wellbeing, and advocating for equal opportunities for all women in our area.

​Our doors, drop ins and supportive spaces are open as always to any woman needing a safe place to connect, lead or be heard.

Headline: Representing Women in North East Lincolnshire 💜

We’ve had some fantastic conversations with local residents so far during this month’s open community events across Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

Our team is attending these open sessions throughout August to represent the needs of local women, advocate for safe community spaces, and connect directly with residents.

Coming up next week:
