Inverclyde Libraries are promoting HiVis Fortnight to highlight services and support for people with a visual impairment.

Taking place from 1-14 June, the campaign highlights the range of resources available in Inverclyde libraries - including large print books and audio books - to make sure everyone gets to enjoy the pleasure of reading.

There are also eBooks and eAudio books on the BorrowBox app as well as newspapers and magazines on PressReader - both apps are free to download and have built in accessibility modes as well as text to voice options.

All Inverclyde Library branches offer assistive technology such as reading magnifiers and staff can also advise on other services that support reading in alternative formats including the RNIB Talking Books Service and ClearVision postal lending library of children’s books including braille and tactile picture books.
