Material Matters exhibition at Skippings Gallery organised by SayItWithStitchGY. The craftism group started with a few friends that met through participating in the St Johns textile exhibition in 2017 . All welcome to come along and see what we have been up to. The exhibition is open everyday this week 10am-2pm until Saturday. See shared post below.

Coming up on the 9th October will mark 45 years of the first wedding held at St. John's Church.
Mark Anthony Sylvester and Shirley Pickering were reported at the time to be "Married 'over Bishop's head" and having to pay an extra £29 pounds in fees to get a special licence from the Archbishop of Canterbury. They were married by the Rev. Ivan Lilley on 9th October 1974.
