Your Own Place Drop-In Sessions

Your Own Place is a National Lottery Funded organisation that works restoratively, offering a space to talk about money. They aim to coach and support people to understand their money and bills - identify their own ways to manage their money so that people feel more in control of their choices, and potentially signposting/refer to other specialist agencies in order to help.

Great Yarmouth Library will have weekly drop-in session available every Tuesday for customers to speak with a representative from Your Own Place.

No need to book, just pop in between 12:00-3:00pm, to speak to a coach in the green booth's at the back of the Library.

Out of The Vault - at Great Yarmouth Library

Out of the Vault is an Exhibition put together by Q***r Norfolk in partnership with the East Anglian Film Archive.

Community Curating was a year-long collaboration supported by the BFI Screen Heritage Fund, with National Lottery funding.

The project used a community consultancy approach to explore practices for collecting contemporary LGBTQ+ moving image material. Through five workshops in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, Thetford and King’s Lynn, activists, creators and facilitators from Norfolk’s LGBTQ+ Communities explored the hidden stories moving image material holds.

The exhibition will be at Great Yarmouth Library until 21st September and then moves on to King's Lynn, Thetford and Norwich Millennium Library.
