This not only provides free school meals for your child it boosts school funds to allow us to support your child's education and subsidise school trips.
You will also receive up to £30 per child per month in cost of living vouchers which can be used to buy food and groceries at a supermarket of your choice.

Cost of living vouchers - £240 per year

If you are eligible for free school meals, you will receive a monthly 'cost of living' voucher. The vouchers will be £15 per month, per child. Additional payments of £15 will be made in April for Easter, in July and August for the school summer holidays, and in December for Christmas.

The vouchers will be paid up to and including March 2026.

The vouchers are provided by Edenred and can be used for food and groceries in store at the following supermarkets:
• Morrisons
• Tesco
• Sainsbury's
• Asda
• Waitrose
• M&S food
• McColl's (including RS McColl's and Martin's)
• Aldi
You can also use the Edenred vouchers online at Asda and Waitrose.

If you receive a means-tested benefit and are entitled for Free School Meals (Pupil Premium) you will automatically receive the vouchers from your child's school.

Hemsby Primary School are looking to appoint a cleaner to join their team. In the first instance, the role is being advertised for 11.25 hours per week but there may be the possibility of additional hours in the longer term. The working pattern is Monday to Friday for 2¼ hours per day worked any time between 3pm and 5:30pm.

We are seeking applications from individuals with:
• High standards
• Experience of cleaning in a school or similar environment
• The ability to work as part of a team
• An understanding of GDPR, safeguarding and confidentiality
• A good sense of humour
We can offer you:
• A warm, supportive and friendly place to work.

Personal qualities are of paramount important, and the person appointed will be expected to display patience, enthusiasm, energy, good humour, flexibility, and reliability. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
You will work as a member of a friendly and committed staff in a supportive environment where teamwork is valued. We are a popular and successful school, and which has recently become part of the Caister Primary Federation of schools.
