After 6.5 years the time has come for myself and Naz to leave 221. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time with the 221 family and feel honoured and proud to be part of the cadets journeys, but sadly, for various reasons, we have both decided now is the time for us to step down.
We wish 221 all the best as it continues to grow and thank you for the many years and memories you have given us. Our special thanks go to Ocs Wayne Rowlands and Ben Reynolds, you have both given so much to 221 and helped make it what it is today. It really was amazing to work with you both.

Naz, thank you for all the help and support you’ve given me as a fellow volunteer. It’s been a pleasure working along side you all these years.

All the best
Kay

He’s only gone and done it 👏 👏 👏
Cdt Steven’s left 221 a few years ago but still had his heart set on joining the RAF.
After completing his training, Cdt Stevens passed out of the RAF on Wednesday 18th March.
A massive well done. We’re so proud of you and we wish you all the best.

Another young cadets journey to share with you.
Cdt Steven’s was known to us for his cheeky character, and witty ways. It was always hard to try and guide him when he was making wrong decisions ( hard because you had to remove yourself and laugh at his mister meaners before using strong words to show him the right decisions to make).
He left us and carried on life being a young man, working, learning to drive and still being that cheeky character we knew.
Today, Cdt Steven’s is back on his cadet journey and driving to his next chapter of life in the RAF.
We wish him all the best and can’t wait to see how he gets on.

A very productive day for 221 today. We held our annual chocolate Tombola and raised an amazing £175.
Well done to the cadets, staff and CivCom for making today happen and our local community for coming to see us.
Thank you to Tesco Great Yarmouth Community for donating a chocolate hamper for our event.

Cpl RAF made himself festive today in his Santa outfit.

This evening we were honoured to have the Mayor and Mayoress join us at 221. We had a great evening hearing all about their experiences, and how they feel privileged to see things in the community from a different angle. We also managed to get them both on the flight sim.
Thank you both for finding time in your busy schedule to come and visit us.
