South Essex Colleges Group is continuing its successful partnership with Hydrogen Safe for a third consecutive year, helping businesses and individuals across the South East gain the skills needed to support the UK's transition to clean energy. Funded through Thames Freeport ’s Skills Accelerator, the programme will provide fully funded hydrogen safety training for up to 150 learners, equipping participants with specialist knowledge and industry-recognised qualifications in this growing sector.

Previously the training was delivered to engineering apprentices and college staff but is now being expanded to businesses and individuals across the region. From September, eligible participants will have access to a range of free hydrogen safety courses, qualifications and e-learning modules designed to enhance workforce skills and career opportunities within the clean energy industry. Anyone living in the South East can register their interest, making this an excellent opportunity for both employers and individuals looking to develop expertise in an emerging and increasingly important field.
