Swaddling is a technique that has been used for many centuries and in recent years it has become a popular settling technique in the Netherlands and some parts of the USA and UK. In the UK, about 19% of babies are swaddled in the first 4 weeks of life. Swipe across to see the benefits of safe swaddling.

To practise safe swaddling you can buy specially made swaddle wraps, or swaddle your baby loosely in a lightweight blanket. You should also stop swaddling your baby at around 3 months, before they begin to roll over. Take a look at our blogs and articles on our website.

Baby Sensory ‘Say Hello to the Sun’

Since the very first Baby Sensory class took place in 2003, thousands of babies all over the world have enjoyed the words and melody of ‘Say Hello to the Sun’ by Dr Lin Day.

Observations in qualitative research have shown that babies who heard the song regularly in infancy often surprised their parents by singing the song from beginning to end in childhood.

In the home, Baby Sensory ‘Say Hello to the Sun’ and Baby Sensory instrumental lullabies can set the tone for a relaxed and a calming atmosphere.
