I have first hand experience of modern day policing and I live in hope that common sense in the job can resume once more. Police are now programmed to focus on diversity and inclusion, when their focus should be combating crime.
Along with the rest of the country I will be watching closely and hope that the decent officers out there can start doing their jobs without fear or favour.

The parents of Lt Lily-Mae Fisher, Lt Cmdr Chris Gayson and Petty Officer Owen Green should feel so incredibly proud.
The three of them stepped up to serve our country and paid the ultimate price.

I imagine that every one of you feel as deeply disturbed as I feel over this case. I am upset to the pit of my stomach over the lack of compassion that poor Henry received in his dying minutes.
As thoroughly depressing as things are at times, we have to keep pushing for the change our country needs to ensure that our children have a future in this country.

Henry Nowak’s father has spoken so bravely outside court today about “the brutal reality of knife crime in this country”.

He told us that “Henry told officers that he could not breathe nine times”

This is a truly heartbreaking and I hope that the government finally treat knife crime with the urgency it needs.

Robert Jenrick has said that the police handling of Henry Nowak’s murder is a scandal, and he is 100% right!
Where is the uproar from Labour like there was for the criminal George Floyd?

There is institutional discrimination against white people in this country and this requires a full review.

Last Friday, the Labour group at Gravesham Borough Council decided to place an item on tonight’s Cabinet Committee agenda regarding whether to implement an Article 4 Direction on HMO applications across Gravesham.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to sign the petition I started on the 15th April, and to everyone who helped deliver leaflets. It seems the Labour group couldn’t ignore all 1,137 of you who signed the petition in support.

This shows that when local people speak with one voice, councillors are forced to listen.
