Matthew Johnson who is the founder of Beacon Invicta Youth Project, and the wider team have gone above and beyond to create memories and offer experiences which are not always possible for everyone.

Residents of ROCHESTER ROAD, INGOLDSBY ROAD & DICKENS ROAD - You may have now received a letter notifying you of a potential new bus lane which proposes to improve bus journey times.

As one of your two Gravesend East KCC Councillors I was asked for my thoughts on the proposal. Whilst I am not personally in favour of bus lanes, I requested that the decision should sit with the residents. Particularly those who park their cars on this stretch of road or people who use the bus service.

This has also gone on in Gravesham! We are all upset over the theft of Green Belt land for houses and the endless stream of HMOs popping up, and yet we are blindly allowing hundreds of people to arrive under the guise of a Skilled Worker!

Welcome to 'Jahangir Balti & Tandoori Restaurant' in St. Andrews.

The business has been going for more than 12 years.

But in 2023, they appear to have settled on a new business model.

Between 2023 and 2024 they received FORTY-TWO Certificates of Sponsorship for 'Skilled Worker' visas.

42 workers in just two years.

For a single curry house.

The firm remains an A-rated Skilled Worker sponsor.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

It does not include the dependants these workers are likely to have brought with them.

The ratio between workers and their dependants is often as high as 5 to 1.

That means this single curry house could have brought over 200 people to Britain.

This is what the Tories did to our country.

Reform will send fraudsters packing and reverse the Boriswave scam.

A big shout out to Zultano Tamiozzo who showed great community spirit today!

I was litter picking this morning in Ingoldsby Road (which I must say, was extremely bad for litter). Zultano came out of his house, gave me a bottle of water and joined in with the tidy up 👏🏻

To the w**d smoking individual who dropped their wares in the gutter, I disposed of it for you. You’re welcome 😂

⚠️ Nitrous Oxide - It’s no laughing matter ⚠️

I along with Gravesham Reform have been voicing my concerns around Nitrous Oxide and how widespread the problem has become within Gravesham.

So I have written to various ministers to call on them to implement the following -

* Manufacturers retain ownership of cylinders.

* Each cylinder carries a unique serial number linked to its holder.

* Customers pay a refundable deposit.

* Cylinders are supplied on an exchange-only basis through authorised distributors.

* Deposits are refunded only upon safe return.

* Ownership and exchange records are maintained to improve traceability and accountability.

👮🏻🚨🚓 - We would also like to thank Kent Police for their work last week. They seized 31 boxes in Gravesend, making our young people safer.
