I recently had a lovely, relaxing couple of days in Bowness-on-Windermere to unwind from the Christmas chaos 😌🎄
I picked up a great deal on Wowcher to stay at the Macdonald Old England Hotel & Spa 🏨✨ Such a beautiful hotel with super relaxing rooms and an even more relaxing spa 💆‍♀️🧖‍♀️
The included breakfast was delicious as expected 🍳🥓 with the black pudding possibly stealing the show 👀⭐
I also revisited The Hole In’t Wall pub 🍺 and oh my word… the Dizzy Blonde ale was absolutely phenomenal 🤩🍻 It almost made me question whether Loweswater Gold is still my favourite (it is… but it’s a close call 😉).
And finally, I can highly recommend The Albert 🍽️👌 We went for food and it did not disappoint — absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were huge 😍
A perfect little getaway
