Last June I had an amazing adventure cycling to NE Spain.

This year I am taking up the challenge of The Raid Pyrenees, cycling from the Atlantic end of the Pyrenees to the Mediterranean coast in 6 days.

I think this is going to be my toughest cycling challenge yet. I’m as prepared as I have had time for, but no amount of riding the undulating roads of Rutland and Leicestershire was ever going to replicate the climbing that lies ahead.

So, excuse the workshop being closed this coming week, but I will try to send a few updates when I am not flogging my way up another glorious mountain.

The workshop is opening back up this week following my absence last week on my annual cycling pilgrimage to Catalonia. We had the best weather yet and the most wonderful cycling with plenty of lovely climbs. Although a great holiday, it doubled as a ‘training camp’ for my impending Raid Pyrenees adventure in the first week of June with Stuart Hall Cycling Limited. Can’t wait 🚵‍♀️😎

This is first class training and, uniquely, excellent follow-on support fom the Bike Inn. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with them earning my Level 3 bicycle mechanic qualification back in 2022.

It’s turning out to be a busy Spring.

This bicycle serviced today for someone about to get back into their triathlon training. Many thanks to Belvoir Tri Club for recommending GVC to them.

As a member of the RAF this customer will benefit from our 10% discount on labour for Service personnel, veterans and local cycling club members.

A fun and safe way to get your children into cycling coming up this half term in Grantham.

Go-Ride returns this February half Term!

Go-Ride is British Cycling's development programme for clubs and groups providing cycling to children and young people. The programme provides a fun and safe way to introduce young riders to the world of cycle sport and provides a platform to improve bike handling skills.

Time for a bicycle service?

I came to ride one of my bikes during the recent cold snap and found it needed a little care and attention. What do they say about plumbers always being too busy working on other people's pipes and never mending their own? I am ashamed to say I fell into that trap a little.
