You’re probably seeing plenty of bar charts and carefully chosen statistics trying to tell you Labour cannot win here. The facts say otherwise.
Since 2019, Labour has consistently elected councillors across Godalming and surrounding villages, including on Waverley Borough Council, Godalming Town Council and Witley Parish Council. Voting Labour here is not wasted. It works.
If you want Labour councillors representing your community, vote Labour.

Our campaign is up and running, and our team has already been out across the constituency, canvassing, leafletting, and speaking to residents about the issues that matter most locally.

I’m John Stolliday, and I’m proud to be your Labour candidate in today’s by-election for Godalming Town Council.
I live in Godalming and care deeply about our community.
I’ll work hard to protect our green spaces, support local businesses, and ensure our council listens to residents. I’ll also fight to make sure the Labour government helps deliver for our town.
Labour DOES win here, and has done in the previous two elections, so please vote for me today, Tuesday 25th November – together, we can build a fairer, greener Godalming.

We were out and about in Farncombe and Catteshall again at the weekend, hopefully you’ll have heard from us and our candidate John Stolliday-and if you haven’t then drop us a message, we want to hear from you.
This ward has elected a Labour Councillor in the previous two elections, Labour can and do win here, so please vote for John Stolliday on Tuesday, November 25th.

We were out campaigning over the weekend for our candidate John Stolliday, in Farncombe and Catteshall, and will be throughout the week and next weekend, right up until Polling day on Tuesday, November 25th. Don't believe the bar charts - you elected a Labour Councillor here in the last election two years ago, and can do again!
