Waverley's Leisure Team covers a wide range of services throughout the borough. We have five leisure centres in Cranleigh, Farnham, Godalming and Haslemere. They are run by Places for People Leisure, on behalf of the Waverley Borough Council. Waverley's Leisure Team are committed to promoting better sporting and leisure opportunities for people of all ages. The team provides a range of projects fr

We're planning to replace the existing modular skate park at Aarons Hill Recreation Ground, , with a new fun, modern concrete skate and bike park. We're also planning improvements to the surrounding landscape and facilities.

This August we're once again offering young people across the borough the free opportunity to be coached by pros, watch demonstrations and show off their new tricks. 🙌

We're running two types of workshop:
👉 Beginner workshops: perfect for children trying skateboarding for the first time or with little experience, so that they can learn basic skills and a few fun tricks 🌟
👉 Mixed ability workshops: for those already comfortable with the basics of skateboarding, and would like to develop their skills 👏
