Fire cadets at Glynneath Fire Station starting in September, applications are open, this is for 13-16 year olds and will be Monday evenings at Glynneath Fire Station from 6pm-8pm term time starting in September, Follow the attached post link 🔥🚒🧯🧑‍🚒👩‍🚒🪜🚨🔔

🤍 Diwrnod Coffa’r Diffoddwyr Tân | Firefighters’ Memorial Day

Bob blwyddyn ar Fai 4ydd, rydym yn anrhydeddu ac yn diolch i bawb sy'n gwasanaethu yn ein Gwasanaethau Tân ac Achub am eu hymroddiad, eu dewrder a'u hymrwymiad diysgog. Rydym hefyd yn oedi i gofio'r rhai a gollwyd.

Mae heddiw yn deyrnged i’r Diffoddwyr Tân a wnaeth yr aberth eithaf wrth gyflawni eu dyletswyddau, ac yn gydnabyddiaeth o’r dewrder a ddangoswyd gan genedlaethau o Ddiffoddwyr Tân, gan gynnwys y rhai sy’n gwasanaethu ein cymunedau heddiw. Cofiwn.

Each year on May 4th, we honour and thank all those who serve in our Fire and Rescue Services for their dedication, courage, and unwavering commitment. We also pause to remember those we have lost.

Today is a tribute to the Firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, and a recognition of the bravery shown by generations of Firefighters, including those who serve our communities today. They are always remembered.

**Training Exercise**

Today crews from Glynneath Fire Station / Gorsaf Tân Glyn-Nedd and Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team will be carrying out a water training exercise on the Afon Nedd Fechan at Pontneddfechan and various locations up stream from the Angel Public house area

The training is important to maintain crew competence, develop skills and techniques

The training won’t impede the normal activities of the area
