🌿 A very special guest at today’s Walk & Talk! 🌿

Hucclecote Parish Council were delighted to welcome the High Sheriff of Gloucestershire, Dame Fiona Reynolds CBE DBE, to join us for our Walk & Talk this morning. 💚

Dame Fiona joined us on the walk before staying on to chat with our wonderful Walk & Talkers. We had some lovely conversations, plenty of laughs and it was a real pleasure to have her with us and show her what our community Walk & Talk is all about.

Thank you so much, Dame Fiona, for coming along, spending time with us and getting to know our fantastic walkers. It was lovely to have you! 💐

We hope to see you again! 😊

GLOUCESTER HERITAGE OPEN DAYS
Mark the date in your diary as the Jet Age Museum will be contributing to the Gloucester Heritage Open Days Festival during it's normal open hours of 10am to 4pm on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September. In additional to all our usual attractions of open cockpits and displays, we will be uncovering some of our hidden treaures from our museum archives.

On Saturday 12th September only, “The DAVE PARTRIDGE RE-ENACTOR PILOTS” will be on site with all the kit you'll need to be an aviator.

Set against the backdrop of a working airport and home to one of the UK's most remarkable aviation collections, it's a day out with real meaning — and best of all, entry to the museum is always free to enter but we rely upon donations in order to thrive.

You can find us at the Meteor Business Park (GL2 9QL) near to Gloucestershire Airport.

🎉 COOPERS EDGE – AN IMPORTANT STEP FORWARD! 🎉

We’re delighted to share some positive news following the recent Community Governance Review.

Tewkesbury Borough Council’s Executive Committee has now formally expressed its support for the creation of a separate Coopers Edge Parish and Parish Council. 👏

This is a significant milestone and follows the extensive consultation with Coopers Edge residents, which showed strong community support for having our own parish council and a dedicated local voice.

There is still more work to do before this can become a reality, but this decision is a really positive step in the right direction. 💪

The three parish councils will now confirm their support for the updated proposal before it is submitted to Stroud District Council for consideration.

Thank you to everyone who completed the survey, shared their views and supported the campaign. ❤️

Coopers Edge – one community, one voice.

We’ll keep you updated as the next steps progress.
