ANNUAL TESTS AND THE DECLARATION FORM

It is annual test time again in some areas and all operators are required to complete a declaration form confirming that all vehicles being presented will have been checked over against the test sheet before it is tested.

I have to remind you that if we do not receive a completed declaration form by the due date, then the test will be cancelled and the plates removed from the vehicle until a new test date can be arranged, at the convenience of Fleet Services.

If you have already submitted a declaration form, thank you. If you are due to undergo the annual test and have not yet submitted a declaration form, please do so as soon as possible.

If you have any questions about this please contact [email protected] or telephone 03451 55 11 77.

For the attention of East area operators, especially St Andrews taxi operators.

We have had notification of essential works to be carried out on the water supply pipes in Bell Street, St Andrews which will affect the taxi rank there. The works are scheduled to take place from 09.00hrs on 02/06/25 to 23:59hrs on 06/06/25, or until earlier completion of the works.

Although the notice attached shows the road to be closed during the entire period of the works, we have been in discussion with Scottish Water and they have agreed to place metal plates over the excavation works each night to ensure that taxis can still access the rank.

We are aware this will impact on the rank spaces available but it is short term and necessary and we appreciate your patience and understanding.
