Our social media channels feature a variety of information from our services and partners, keeping you informed and up to date with what's happening across

Fife. We're here to help in any way that we can, and we will always aim to be supportive and respectful in our posts and any comments we respond to. We expect the same of all those contributing to our page. We want our social media channels to be safe, healthy, and open places for discussion and the exchange of views and we have the following house rules to help support that.

- All users must comply with the social media platform's terms of use as well as our own terms of use
- We answer enquiries/messages as soon as possible within working hours
- We will remove, in whole or in part, posts that we feel are inappropriate – for example bullying or harassment - or discriminatory against any individual or group
- You are wholly responsible for any content you post including content you choose to share

We will remove messages (where function allows) and report and/or block users on our social media channels who post messages at us which we believe are:

- abusive or obscene
- deceptive or misleading
- in violation of any intellectual property rights, including copyright
- in violation of any law or regulation
- spam and off-topic content (persistent negative and/or abusive posts in which the aim is to provoke a response)
- promotional material, including links to external websites and promotions

Anyone repeatedly engaging with us using content or language which falls into the above categories will be blocked and/or reported to the associated social media platform. We will not tolerate or respond to abusive messages. We must always remain politically neutral on social media which is why council officers are unable to reply to, endorse or engage with, any content that is of a party political nature. Political issues can be discussed with local councillors.

🌿 Our Local Nature Grant Scheme is now open! 🌿

Grants are available for youth-led projects that help connect communities with nature and local biodiversity. From community gardens and nature walks to creative arts projects and events, innovative ideas are encouraged.

Adult applicants should develop proposals alongside young people, with projects aiming to create positive change, empower local young people, increase access to natural spaces, and improve understanding of local biodiversity.

Application deadline: 25th of October 2025, at 11:45pm

📢 Shared Care Scotland's Better Breaks Fund is Now Open!

Grants are available for third sector organisations to develop and deliver short breaks projects and services for disabled children and young people (aged 20 and under), and their carers.

Funding supports a wide range of activities, including:
* Holiday activity programmes
* After-school clubs
* Sports coaching
* Youth groups
* Family activities and outings

Projects can support young people on their own, with siblings or young carers, or provide opportunities for the whole family to enjoy together.

💼 Thomas Wall Trust Grants

The Thomas Wall Trust is offering funding for charities supporting disadvantaged adults (18+) to develop communication and employability skills.

Priority is given to projects supporting people facing significant barriers to employment, including women, disabled people, refugees and asylum seekers, particularly those experiencing multiple deprivation.

The Trust is especially interested in match-funded and sustainable projects that aim to reduce reliance on grant funding over time.
