Our social media channels feature a variety of information from our services and partners, keeping you informed and up to date with what's happening across

Fife. We're here to help in any way that we can, and we will always aim to be supportive and respectful in our posts and any comments we respond to. We expect the same of all those contributing to our page. We want our social media channels to be safe, healthy, and open places for discussion and the exchange of views and we have the following house rules to help support that.

- All users must comply with the social media platform's terms of use as well as our own terms of use
- We answer enquiries/messages as soon as possible within working hours
- We will remove, in whole or in part, posts that we feel are inappropriate – for example bullying or harassment - or discriminatory against any individual or group
- You are wholly responsible for any content you post including content you choose to share

We will remove messages (where function allows) and report and/or block users on our social media channels who post messages at us which we believe are:

- abusive or obscene
- deceptive or misleading
- in violation of any intellectual property rights, including copyright
- in violation of any law or regulation
- spam and off-topic content (persistent negative and/or abusive posts in which the aim is to provoke a response)
- promotional material, including links to external websites and promotions

Anyone repeatedly engaging with us using content or language which falls into the above categories will be blocked and/or reported to the associated social media platform. We will not tolerate or respond to abusive messages. We must always remain politically neutral on social media which is why council officers are unable to reply to, endorse or engage with, any content that is of a party political nature. Political issues can be discussed with local councillors.

💙 Funding Opportunity: Healthy Heart Grants Now Open 💙

Heart Research UK’s Healthy Heart Grants are now open!

Grants of up to £15,000 are available to support new community projects for adults that help promote heart health and reduce the risk of heart disease.

Projects should focus on one or more of the following:
* Healthy eating
* Physical activity
* Smoking
* Alcohol consumption

Applications will close on the 8th July 2026.

🌿 Happy by Nature Fund – Now Open! 🌿

From 8th–21st June 2026, state-funded primary schools in England, Wales and Scotland can apply for a share of £12,000 grants (10 available) from Learning Through Landscapes and WWF.

Support includes expert design advice, staff training, and help to create nature-rich outdoor spaces 🌱

To be successful, schools should demonstrate:
• Commitment to complete the project by Dec 2026
• A lack of quality outdoor green space
• Strong support from senior leadership
• Whole-school involvement, including pupils

The Hugo Burge Foundation has opened applications for its Creative Communities and Creative Education grants – but be quick, they close 31st July!

💡 Creative Communities Fund
Supports organisations, festivals, fairs and community groups delivering local arts and cultural activities.
* Focus on participation (not just audiences)
* Helps more people regularly take part in creative activities

📚 Creative Education Fund
Open to individuals, schools, and arts/culture organisations working with young people (0–29) and could include:
