This is why the work we do matters.

This is a difficult but incredibly important conversation about the experiences and outcomes of young people leaving care.

Too many care leavers face significant barriers when it comes to health, wellbeing, education, employment, housing and feeling supported after leaving care.

At FordHaven Future Foundations, we believe that support shouldn’t stop when young people leave care.

Our aim is to help care leavers aged 16–25 across Somerset build confidence, develop life skills, overcome barriers and create positive pathways into education, training, employment and independent life. 🌱

Every young person deserves to feel that they have a future, and that someone believes in them.

A reminder that Future Foundations runs every Tuesday, 3–5pm at Tor Leisure in Glastonbury.
You can attend with your worker, meet us one‑to‑one beforehand, or simply drop in when you feel ready.
