Today we honour the memory of those who lost their lives 25 years ago on 11 September 2001. We at Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service are honoured to join National September 11 Memorial & Museum in remembrance and share this picture of the sky we all share.

We remember the brave firefighters and emergency service workers who selflessly responded to help those in need.

We will never forget.

As we come in to September we can update you on what happened in August!

The month of August was our busiest month with the station being mobilised to a total of 41 incidents, ranging from Standby cover moves, wildfires, Car fires and RTCs! But the most noticeable mobilisation for the station was being sent to assist our colleagues in South wales with wildfire incidents 🔥 🚒

A huge thank you to our families that we leave behind in order to attend these incidents, your support is always appreciated by us all ❤️🚒

As we look forward to September another reminder that our fire station open day is on Saturday 19th September! We look forward to seeing you all 🚒🔥👨‍🚒👩‍🚒
