AFTPS is currently lobbying for the following:
1. An increase in Scottish-based television commissioning;
2. A national studio/production space for Scotland, capable of attracting productions to the country;
3. Greater support for indigenous Scottish-based production companies;
4. A review of current public sector funding for film and television in Scotland in the light of increased competition both within the UK and abroad.
5. Support for a stand-alone screen agency for Scotland.

The Scottish Youth Film Festival is officially open for submissions via FilmFreeway https://filmfreeway.com/ScottishYouthFilmFestival 🎬

This year's festival will be held in Perth on the 29th - 30th September 2023.

If you are 19 and under and resident in Scotland, submit your short film for free today for a chance to win an award and attend a day of fun workshops, screenings... and of course the awards ceremony!
