Members of the community council were out last night for a drive around the area they cover looking at issues that had been raised and reporting them. Thanks to Cllr Fiona Higgins for taking the time to join us.
Did you know our area goes as far as pinkston_watersports? We stopped off for a few minutes to admire the work they do - what a great facility in the community!

We are pleased to hear this news, it is an issue that keeps getting raised. We look forward to work starting and the flats being put to use rather than being an eye sore.

I have been lobbying for years to secure funds to restore these tenement blocks on Stonyhurst Street in Possilpark.

I'm pleased that the funding has now been secured by NG Homes.

There is a derelict tenement block in private ownership further up Saracen Street that also needs intervention.

We’re running a hustings here in Possilpark involving candidates for the constituencies. All candidates for the Kelvin & Maryhill and Easterhouse & Springburn constituencies have been invited!

The hustings will have attendees sit at tables, and candidates will go table-to-table where they will answer your questions directly.

The hustings will be 6-7pm on the 30th April, doors open 5:30pm

Delighted to be a contributor for this. Each hamper also has one of our magnets in it which will help people get in touch and see minutes of our meetings…

We were delighted to hand over one of our Welcome Hampers to one of the first tenants receiving keys for the brand-new QCHA Hamiltonhill flats! 🏡✨

These hampers, lovingly put together by Clay Church and supported by local charities, are filled with useful items to help make a new house feel like home. 🛋️🧺
