Who Dares Cares will be hosting a Family Fun Day at Calderglen Country Park on Sunday 28th June. The Armed Forces and Emergency Services will be there with information stands showcasing what they have to offer. There will also be lots of entertainment for the kids. Why not come along and have a great day with the family.

Callum Marr

It is with great sadness that RHQ SCOTS pass on the news of the death of former SCOTS WO2 Callum Marr.

Callum joined the army in 2006 and initially served with 3 RMP until 2015. In 2015 he was selected as an instructor at The Army School of Bagpipe Music and Highland Drumming, before transferring to The Royal Regiment of Scotland as the 4 SCOTS Drum Major. In 2021, Callum was an instructor at RMAS before returning to 4 SCOTS as the CQMS. On promotion to WO2, Callum was appointed CSM BKA Coy 5 SCOTS.

Callum’s funeral will take place on Thu 11 Jun 26 at 1430hrs at Dundee Crematorium to which all friends and former colleagues are invited to attend. Family flowers only please.

The next breakfast for Veterans and Serving Personnel is on Sat 30th May at Toby Carvery in Strathclyde Park. This is open to anyone who served and still serves in the Armed Forces. No rank, no cap badge or service supremacy, just good old military banter.
