Action for Children GEN R 8

Action for Children GEN R 8 We provide a Housing Support Service to young people between the ages of 16 years and 24 years in the North East of Glasgow.

GEN R 8 outreach housing support service provide support to young people who are homeless or are at risk of homelessness or struggling to maintain a tenancy. We work in Partnership with many local agencies including housing, Careers and Social Services. Our service will provide support to you at the place you are living and at other locations mutually agreed with you. The hours of service will be

agreed during initial support planning and will usually be no more than 14 hours each week. This support will be provided over seven days, including evenings and weekends. We might work together to help you source or sustain a tenancy, look at cooking and budgeting skills or how to be a good neighbour. All work we cover will be tailored to the young persons individual needs, and will support you to have a stable home and become part of your local community.
