Tomorrow (7 September) marks the second anniversary of the Glasgow City Region Govan-Partick Bridge - now a favourite feature of the Clydeside - with well over 2.5million crossings made since.

Three quarters of these crossings were made by pedestrians, with a quarter by cyclists, whose numbers increased by 5.5% in the second year of the Bridge’s operation.

♻️ Help us improve recycling in Glasgow

Every week, recycling collections across Glasgow contain items that shouldn't be in the bin. Even a small number of incorrect items can contaminate an entire collection and make it harder to recycle materials.

We're carrying out a short survey to better understand the challenges residents face when using their bins and recycling services.

Whether you're confident about recycling or sometimes find it confusing, we'd like to hear from you.

Your feedback will help us:
