Ellen is a third year History and Politics Student.

MEET OUR COMMITTEE:
This is Cat Lily Thornton, our lovely Secretary! Cat is a fourth year Politics student.
“I felt compelled to get involved with ofoc because the impact of Brexit would be extremely damaging to our country. I know countless people who voted leave, but having seen the chaos that has ensued, have changed their minds. We need a people’s vote to have a final say on whether the UK wants to leave, once we actually know what this would entail.”

This is Kate Collins , our Treasurer! Kate is a 3rd year Biochemistry student at UoG.
“As a current 20 year old, I could not vote in the initial, be it undemocratic, referendum. Given it affects my age demographic the most, I had to do something productive. Joining OFOC and pushing a people’s vote is a big part of that.”

This is our Vice President, Victor Mulsant! Victor is 19, studies History and Politics at UofG and is a self proclaimed superfan of the Auld Alliance.
“I joined OFOC because I believe in a People's vote due to how undemocratic the first one was. As a EU citizen, I find absolutely insane that our voices cannot be heard.”

Meet our superwoman President Laura MacPherson Zieger!
Laura is a 2nd year philosophy student, whose first ever march was the Processions march in Edinburgh celebrating 100 years of women having the vote.
“Since joining OFOC I have realised how important it is for young people to make their voices heard so it's never too late to get involved!”

With exams and the summer coming, we will continue campaigning around campus and Glasgow- a lot could happen in the coming months! If you are going to attack a movement for being London centric perhaps it's not the best idea to pick one that is mobilising busloads of grassroots activists from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness and Stirling.

If Hamish's brand of armchair radicalism doesn't quite cut it for you while Britain is in the midst of its most severe political crisis then book your ticket ASAP to take part in a generation-defining mass protest against Brexit.
