Elderpark Housing Association Limited Elderpark Housing Association Limited When the Association was established in 1975, a Steering Group was set up and a development officer recruited.

In Autumn 1975 consultants were appointed to acquire and improve properties in the area. In the early 70's, Glasgow District Council had decided to proceed with wholesale purchase and demolition of many tenements in the area. This was a change of policy for the City Council and in 1975 a commissioned a survey was commissioned declaring the city's first Housing Action Area under new legislation. Un

fortunately, it was too late to save some of the older tenements in the area and further demolitions continued up to 1980. The steering group ultimately became the Association first Management Committee and a new "Community Based" Housing Association was formed.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving communities and creating places where people are proud to live. Working closely with residents, contractors, local partners and colleagues, you will play a key role in ensuring our neighbourhoods, communal areas and open spaces are safe, attractive, well-maintained and welcoming.

📍Location: Govan, Glasgow
Salary: £36,517 to £39,921 per annum (plus pension)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Grade: EVH Grade 6 (Spinal Points PA17-20)
Contract: Permanent
