May the 4th Be With You! 🌌📡

In 32 Signal Regiment, we know that whether you’re in a galaxy far, far away or just on a rainy weekend in the UK, communication is everything.

From the deserts of Tatooine to the forests of Endor, even the best Jedi would be lost without a secure signal. While we haven't quite mastered the art of holographic transmissions yet, our Signallers are busy mastering the next best thing: world-class tactical communications and data resilience.

Why we’d give the Rebels a run for their money:
Reliable Links: We don’t let a little "interstellar interference" stop the message.

Tactical Edge: Faster than a TIE Fighter, more precise than a Stormtrooper’s aim.

Versatility: We operate across the UK and beyond, ensuring the chain of command stays connected.

Whether you’re a Padawan looking for a new challenge or a seasoned veteran of the comms world, there’s a place for you in the Army Reserve.

Join the Force. Join 32 Sig Regt. Come and see us on our open night in Glasgow on 19th May at 1930 (7.30 pm)

Staying Ahead of the Curve: Leadership & Innovation 🛡️💻

In a rapidly evolving digital landscape, the "status quo" is a vulnerability. That’s why the continuing professional development (CPD) of our senior leaders isn't just an advantage—it’s a necessity.

This past weekend, senior NCOs and Officers from 32 Signal Regiment joined colleagues from across the Royal Signals Army Reserve in Stafford for a high-intensity training symposium. The focus? Equipping our decision-makers with the tools to navigate the complexities of modern warfare and domestic resilience.

Key Briefing Areas included:
🤖 Artificial Intelligence: Exploring how AI-driven analytics can sharpen our decision-making and operational efficiency.
🛡️Cybersecurity: Deep-diving into the latest defensive protocols to protect our critical communications infrastructure.
🌍 Strategic Threats: Analysing the shifting global landscape and the evolving risks currently facing the UK.

Our ability to provide secure, robust communication depends on our leaders being as cutting-edge as the technology we deploy.

A huge thank you to the subject matter experts and organisers in for a very enjoyable and productive session. We return to the Regiment with fresh insights and a renewed focus on keeping our nation connected and protected.

A productive Easter weekend for 32 Signal Regiment! 🐣🪖

While many were enjoying the bank holiday, our soldiers were on the rifle ranges, sharpening their marksmanship skills. This weekend’s training was focused on the annual shooting test—a mandatory requirement for every reservist.

Why does it matter?

Success on the range is a key component for the Certificate of Efficiency (CoE). Achieving your CoE proves you are "fit for purpose" and qualifies you for the annual tax-free bounty.

Great to see so many familiar faces hitting their targets and showing the dedication that defines the Royal Corps of Signals.

Interested in doing something different with your weekends?

Why not try something different with your spare time? Don't think you'll fit in? Wrong. We are just like you. We conduct our military training alongside our day jobs, you could too. The Army Reserve offers a challenge & the opportunity to gain new skills & qualifications.

We are based in and . There's a place for you on our team. Don't worry if you have no experience. You join, we'll train you. We offer training as Communications specialists, HR assistants, Chefs and Physical Training Instructors.

Last week members of 32 Signal Regiment participated in a Battlefield Study Tour of Berlin, organised by 39 Signal Regiment, focusing on developing knowledge of the events surrounding the cold war and its operational implications.

Soldiers went to the Topography of Terror Museum, Checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin wall, Olympic stadium & the Bundeswehr Museum of Military History.

Applying the historical lessons learnt from this study to modern military challenges is key to our development within the Royal Corps of Signals.
