Pipes, drums, and over a century of tradition.
We’re proud to welcome back the Combined Universities’ Officer Training Corps Pipes and Drums to the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade this summer.
Made up of students from Scotland, this talented group represents the very best of Scotland’s musical and military heritage. Each band wears its own distinctive tartan, Gordon, Hunting Stuart, or Mackenzie and together they form a unique ensemble with deep roots and proud traditions.
These students also take part in Army leadership training through the UOTC, building confidence, discipline, and teamwork alongside their musical skills. Many go on to serve or contribute to their communities as future leaders.
Having performed at Tattoos in Edinburgh, Basel, and even for Royalty, this is a group that brings energy, passion, and excellence to every performance.
Don’t miss them on the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade this August.
