I married Louise and Andrew at the The Georgian Hotel in Coatbridge on Sunday. The date was significant, as it was 20 years to the day when Andrew first asked Louise to be his girlfriend.

Their beautiful wee daughter was front and centre throughout, in this lovely intimate service. She was gifted a bracelet from her mum and dad, whilst they exchanged rings.

During the ceremony there was lots of laughter when I shared some of their love stories.

Cherished relatives who have passed were also remembered, and their love could really be felt in the room.

Louise and Andrew chose to include handfasting within their ceremony and there are some lovely photos of this.

I was lucky to have had great chats with their friends and family afterwards. What a special day and all round, a wonderful family.

It was also great to meet the amazing Sean from Carroll Studios, can’t wait to see the pics!

❤️💍Emily and Tim!💍❤️ This surely gets the prize for the coolest couples pose of late!!! 😂

These guys got married at the gorgeous Piperdam Resort , on a gorgeous, if a tad chilly day at times back in April. Some tunes for folk arriving, providing the music for the ceremony and finally piping the happy couple to the Top Table to kick start the evening, it was a delight to be their piper! Huge congratulations and thank you to Emily and Tim for asking me to play my wee part in their day, what a joy!

Oh and I'm going to request that all couples bring a tractor with them for the photos from now on! 🤣

A delight to work with Rhona Wilson Photography who captured the day perfectly, and Tina the Celebrant- Celebrate People conducting the beautiful ceremony! Brilliantly talented and bringing the feel good vibes!!! Shout out to all the other fantastic suppliers on the day as well! Not sure who you are but you helped make the day special!

On Saturday, I was lucky to have another outdoor wedding, this time at , Loch Lomond. 🌲

Panoramic views of the Loch and stunning Ben Lomond surrounded Samantha and Alasdair, and the Lion Rampant proudly flew in the background.

The ceremony celebrated family, and Samantha was walked down the aisle by her fabulous son, Ezra, which was such a special moment to treasure.

Samantha and Alasdair exchanged personal and very profound vows, which had family and friends dabbing their eyes. 💍

The location was incredibly peaceful, but I have a suspicion that the party afterwards would have livened up the glen! I mean, Samantha did have three hen dos after all! 🪩

There certainly was so much to celebrate for this beautiful family of four, who prioritise fun family times.

It was a privilege to conduct your ceremony, Samantha and Alasdair, especially as all profits from the venue help CHAS (Children’s Hospices Accross Scotland).

Thank you for choosing me to be your celebrant for your special day! 💓

The sun was shining for Kirsty and Robert’s outdoor wedding ceremony yesterday at . It kicked off with nephew, Robbie dancing and blowing bubbles down the aisle, to the Proclaimers “Let’s Get Married”. 🫧

Two maids of honour, three bridesmaids and their adorable dog Georgi, led the path for Kirsty, who looked spectacular in her black wedding dress. The men looked fabulous in their Highland Mist tartan. Conic Hill and Ben Lomond set a spectacular backdrop, and kayakers splashing about in the Loch added extra. ⛰️ 🛶

Kirsty and Robert’s love tales had their guests howling, and there were also plenty of tender moments. Particularly when Kirsty shared her surprise song for Robert, and when he expressed warm sentiments about his relationships with family and friends.

The couple chose to exchange personal vows in private that morning, and so they remembered these during a beautiful handfasting ritual.

As their first act as married couple, they enjoyed Tequila Rose from their specially engraved Quaich, and their guests similarly toasted their marriage with a shot.

All in all, it was a beautiful ceremony, packed with lots of laughter and rituals that reflected who they are as a couple.

Thanks for choosing me as your Celebrant. Can’t wait to see your photos by

What an amazing experience being the wedding celebrant this weekend for my nephew, (who is also my godson) and his beautiful bride, Lynn.

The wedding took place at the atmospheric Dundee Baronial Mansion with an outdoor ceremony in the beautiful gardens, overlooking the Tay.

The flower girls (including my wee daughter) led the way, from a pink door in a turret, followed by bridesmaids in stunning burgundy dresses.

The ceremony incorporated lots of aspects unique to the couple including a reading from the Lord of the Rings and beautiful handfast chords made by bridesmaid Linzi. The chords were braided with symbolic tokens and a Luckenbooth woven in.

Until we see the professional photos from , here are a few of me and the happy couple, and of my daughter, enjoying drawing in the guest book and one of my new favourite wedding starter: THE MEXICAN WAVE!

What an amazing experience all round. Feeling very privileged

So honoured to get another lovely review from Emily and Tim!

I had a great time getting to know them both over the planning process and it was an honour to deliver a ceremony they loved so much.

Thank you both for letting me be a part of your special day ❤️
