We're proud to be supporting Scottish Breastfeeding Week 2026!

Beeastfeeding is a powerful, natural way to support a baby’s growth and immunity while promoting maternal health and strengthening emotional bonds.

Its benefits extend beyond the family to society as a whole.

We've been getting ready for Scotland's big World Cup kick-off with some football themed fun at our Stay Play and Learn at Bonhill, West Dunbartonshire.

We had our mini football goals and balls, plenty of decorations, a themed photo station, face painting and some rice for sensory play.

Our lovely Family Engagement Practitioners Steph and Louise donned their tartan hats ready to cheer Scotland on.

Come on Scotland!! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚽

⭐ Thank You to The Newark Trust ⭐

Early Years Scotland would like to extend our sincere thanks to The Newark Trust for its support of our Sensory Stars programme in Boglestone, Inverclyde.

Last week, our Family Engagement Practitioner Suzie MacInnes and parent connector Keighley Cheshire had the pleasure of meeting Claire Stone and Donald McLaren from The Newark Trust to discuss the impact that their funding is having on local children and families.

Sensory Stars provides a welcoming, inclusive environment for pre-school children who may be experiencing challenges in areas such as communication, sensory processing, social interaction and emotional regulation.

Through play-based experiences and family-centred support, the programme helps children develop confidence and skills while enabling parents and carers to connect with others who share similar experiences.

Partnerships such as this play a vital role in ensuring that families can access early support within their local communities. The Newark Trust's commitment to improving outcomes for children and families across Inverclyde is helping to create opportunities for children to thrive and for parents to feel supported and connected.
We are grateful for The Newark Trust's continued investment in our work and look forward to building on this partnership to support even more families in the future.

Thank you to Claire, Donald and everyone at The Newark Trust for helping us make a positive difference in the lives of children and families across Inverclyde.
