Excellent support for CWU picket lines at BT, Openreach and Royal Mail yesterday.
All in all 170,000 CWU members were out. The common theme in each of the workplaces was the sheer greed of their directors who are happy to award themselves millions in bonus while the people who make their companies profitable struggle to pay the bills

Also managed to pop by the NUJ picket at the Daily Record - well resourced journalism matters not only for the journalists themselves, but for the functioning of a democracy.

Big thanks to everyone who attended and helped organise yeterday’s Power to the People Glasgow protest outside Ofgem in the city.

The increases announced are intolerable, and the fight to reverse them has only just begun.
