122 squadron cadets visited Brushworks Climbing and described it as 'brilliant' !

Our cadets had the best day for their AEF and each cadet came back with the biggest grin ever seen.
The ground staff were particularly welcoming and Flt. Lt. Coombs was exceptional with the cadets.

122 Squadron cadets took part in our Wing Drill Competition hosted by 327 Squadron Kilmarnock and each cadet should be proud of representing our squadron at a key annual event.

122 Squadron was invited to visit Police Scotland Heliport base where all the staff were very welcoming and engaging with the cadets throughout the session at their base.

122 Squadron cadets have been busy this month with the RBL Youth National Standard Bearing Competition, WSW Athletic Competition and being Guard of Honour for the local Provost at the Bishopbriggs Community Fayre Day .
All the cadets who took part did the squadron proud.
Uniform was to a very high standard.
Special mention to the 3 cadets who took part in the Athletic Competition.
Well done all to those who volunteered for the Bishopbriggs Community Fayre Day where we had the WSW kazebo to promote the RAF Cadet organisation.

On the 20th of January, the squadron was delighted to welcome the Lord Lieutenant for Glasgow to the squadron in order to present CWO Baruah with her Lord’s Lieutenant cadet award.

CWO Baruah said It was an exciting night and a chance to properly meet the Lord Provost who I had met at events previously but not yet had a chance to properly speak to. It was a privilege to have the Lord Provost visit the squadron and for the cadets to find out her role and what she does.

I am still extremely honoured to be the Lord Lieutenant’s cadet and to represent the RAFAC. I have thoroughly enjoyed the events I have attended so far and look forward to future ones too.
