Could you be the person who helps keep a service safe and steady through the night?

We’re recruiting a Housing Assistant in Oban to support people experiencing homelessness to feel safe, settled and supported. This is a nightshift role, working on a 3‑week rota including some weekend work.

You’ll help maintain a calm, stable environment, managing referrals, responding to situations as they arise, and being a consistent presence throughout each shift.

Stop what you’re doing for one minute 🎸

Supported person Daniel has been learning guitar with Support Worker Jacob and together they’ve been playing Blackbird by The Beatles. It's the perfect little reset in your day!

Music can be incredibly therapeutic, helping build confidence, connection and routine and we’re so grateful to have staff like Jacob sharing their skills in this way.

Alongside supporting people day-to-day, Jacob also co-hosts and produces our podcast A Voice in the Dark, and creates much of the music featured throughout the series.

We’re recruiting for a Domestic Cleaner to join our new young person’s service, supporting young people aged 16–21 as they build confidence, independence and brighter futures.

You’ll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment within the service, helping create a space where young people can thrive.
