The Scottish Common Party is immensely proud to have contested the Scottish Parliamentary Elections on 7 May 2026, despite being established for less than a year.

In a short period of time, our movement has grown across Scotland, giving voters a new voice and a new choice at the ballot box.

We extend our sincere thanks to every candidate, volunteer, supporter, and voter who stood with us and campaigned tirelessly on behalf of the party.

These are the overall results across Scotland.

I stand here proud and grateful as leader of the Scottish Common Party. Every single vote represented trust, hope, and belief in our vision for a better future.

To everyone who supported us, volunteered, encouraged us, and stood by our side, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support means everything.

Democracy is about participation, respect, and a shared commitment to serving the people and working for positive change.

I also congratulate everyone who took part in this election, especially those who were elected. While campaigns may end, the responsibility to work for our communities continues, and I look forward to playing my part in that effort.

£68 million every year just to house people in hotels, and it’s tripled in recent years. This isn’t a solution, it’s a symptom of a housing system under pressure.

We need urgent investment in long-term social housing that actually supports people and communities.
