Treasurer: Calum Findlay 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Secretary: Adam Fairgrieve 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Rep's from SNP Strathclyde, Greens Strathclyde, Red Strathclyde and Common Weal Strathclyde will be added to the committee when they have had their own AGM's. 💛 💚 ❤️

Congrats to our new committee for the next academic year! We are sure you will do a great job advancing the cause of independence at Strathclyde.

Our outgoing President, Julia Swann, is graduating this year! We thank her for helping re-establish SUSI this year and wish her the best of luck in whatever her future holds! 💕

Our outgoing Treasurer, Benn Rapson, has been elected as your next VP Welfare at Strath Union where he will campaign for bold progressive policies for the benefit of all students. 💪

We are disappointed, and somewhat surprised, by the decision of Strath Union Clubs Exec to reject our affiliation application on the grounds that; SNP Strathclyde, Greens Strathclyde, and Red Strathclyde could simply collaborate without the need for a Pro-Indy society.

This ignores the vast swathe of independence supporters not engaged in party politics. As such we are appealing the decision.

If you are a Strathclyde student - add your name to the open letter below:

"We, the undersigned, are not interested in being involved in party-political societies but would like to be involved in a broad, open, pro-independence society.

We would like the Strath Union Clubs Exec to approve the affiliation of Strathclyde University Students for Independence (SUSI)."

Thank you to everyone who has liked the page in the last couple of hours.

Our affiliation has been submitted to Strath Union for approval and our interim-committee is as follows:

- Julia Swann as Interim-President.
- Usman Akhtar as SNP Strathclyde Rep.
- Sean Currie as Greens Strathclyde Rep.
- Benn Rapson as Red Strathclyde Rep and Interim-Treasurer.

A permanent 2019-20 committee shall be elected via an EGM in late October.
