The Consulate of Pakistan in Glasgow is a Consular Mission of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the United Kingdom, and responsible for providing services to Pakistanis/ Expatriates and Foreigners residing in Scotland and Northern Ireland. We provide Machine Readable Passport (MRP) facilities to Pakistani nationals and expatriates of Pakistani origin living abroad. Our visa service is totally on

line and the applicants can apply for visa at visa.nadra.gov.pk

We conduct NADRA surgery on first Saturdays of each month at Glasgow. Surgeries to other cities are also organised. Schedule, place and booking links are shared at our page two weeks prior to the surgery. Consul General Summar Javed met with Imran Idrees, Javed Ashraf, and Shahid Mahmood, members of Scotland’s Senior Cricket (Over 60s) World Cup squad, ahead of their upcoming fixtures in Wales and Canada in June 2026.

The Consul General congratulated the team on Scotland’s recent recognition as the 15th Full Member of International Masters Cricket, a significant milestone enabling senior cricketers to represent Scotland in competitive fixtures worldwide.

Consul General of Pakistan, Mr. Summar Javed, was pleased to attend a community dinner organised by members of the Pakistani community, which provided an opportunity for engagement and the exchange of views on matters of mutual interest.

The event was hosted by Malik Riffat Hayat, Naveed Asghar Rana, Waleed Nizam, Ali Haider, Rana Hamid Afzal, Atif Malik, and Saad Sikander Sial, and brought together community members in a spirit of cooperation and goodwill. Discussions focused on community affairs, strengthening connections, and promoting initiatives that contribute to the welfare and development of the community.

The Consulate General of Pakistan appreciates the hospitality extended by the hosts and thanks all participants for their engagement and contributions to a constructive and enjoyable evening.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS & CDF concluded a short but highly productive official visit to Iran. During the visit, the Field Marshal held high-level engagements with Iranian leadership as part of ongoing mediation efforts aimed at promoting de-escalation and constructive engagement, amidst the regional tensions that have simmered after the ceasefire on 8th April, 2026.

The Field Marshal called on H.E. Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, H.E. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, H.E. Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of Iran and H.E. Eskandar Momeni, Interior Minister of Iran. The discussions remained focused upon expediting the consultative process underway to support peace and stability in the region and to reach to a conclusive agreement.

The engagements were held in a positive and constructive environment and contributed meaningfully towards the mediation process. The intensive negotiations over the last twenty four hours have resulted in encouraging progress towards a final understanding.

The Iranian leadership appreciated Pakistan’s sincere and constructive role in facilitating dialogue and promoting peaceful settlement of regional issues.

Upon arrival, the Field Marshal was received by H.E. Eskandar Momeni, Interior Minister of Iran, along with senior civil and military officials.

The Consulate of Pakistan for Scotland & Northern Ireland firmly upholds the principles of dignity, responsibility, and respect in all public and diplomatic affairs.

Following the circulation of false, baseless, and irresponsible allegations against the Consul General and officials of the Consulate, Mr. Muhammad Kamran Butt personally appeared before the Consul General to offer an unconditional apology for his conduct and statements.

During the meeting, Mr. Kamran Butt acknowledged that the allegations and accusations made by him were entirely unfounded and without merit. He formally withdrew his previous statements and assured that no such irresponsible or defamatory remarks would be repeated in the future.

The apology was accepted in the spirit of institutional dignity, mutual respect, and the continued interest of community harmony and unity.
